The Korumburra Bena Football Netball Club has a proud and evolving history shaped by community, resilience, and a passion for the game.

In 2001, the Bena Football Club merged with the Korumburra Football Club, uniting two strong local identities to form the Korumburra Bena Bulldogs. This merger strengthened the region’s football and netball pathways and set the foundation for future growth.

A major rebrand arrived in 2015, when the club adopted a new identity as the Korumburra Bena Giants, marking a fresh era of ambition and development.

The Giants entered the West Gippsland Football Netball League in 2017, expanding the club’s competitive presence across the region.

That same year, the club proudly fielded its first Youth Girls team in the Southern Gippsland Junior Football Competition, supporting the growth of female participation in the sport.

Looking ahead, 2026 will see the introduction of our Veterans team for players aged 35 and over, ensuring lifelong involvement and giving past and present players a place to stay active, connected, and part of the Giants family.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!
